Bike Travel Weekend

Bike Travel Weekend generated a collective 14 million media impressions from 2016-2018 with the use of a robust 6-month digital marketing plan including; social media, public relations, and influencer marketing.

Over 8,400 people throughout the world (16 countries, including 49 U.S. states, Washington, DC, and seven Canadian provinces) participated in 915 trips during the third annual Bike Travel Weekend, June 1–3.

Bike Travel Weekend participants rode a collective 855,061 miles for an average of more than 101.5 miles per person.

40% shared Bike Travel Weekend on their social media channels.

38% shared Bike Travel Weekend stickers in their community or with friends.

23% shared #biketravelweekend on their social media channels.

30% shared the web link

24% included information about Bike Travel Weekend with their bike club, bike shop, or newsletter.
